Castle.

Go rent it from Netflix, or Amazon, or whatever. It is SO good.

Best scene from season 2: Castle (Nathan Fillion's character) dresses up for Halloween as Mal. When he shows off the costume to his daughter, she says "It's been five years, shouldn't you let it go by now?"

Very Happy

Community, obviously.

And QI! (British trivia show) A sample.

This one is some QI with a dash of Doctor Who.

Speaking of great TV shows; I've been hooked lately on Top Gear.

No, not the silly American one! The proper British one!

Comic genius.

Leverage. Go. Watch it.

The first season is a bit slower than the rest, but they're all good.

I'm watching Torchwood at the moment. Great show, not sure if it's been mentioned.

It's an awesome show. The Children of Earth storyline is the best, most well developed.

I second Castle and MLP: FiM as great shows and I'll give the benefit of the doubt to the latest incarnation of the ever exceptional Dr. Who.

It occurs to me that I really don't watch any TV these days that isn't anime...except Big Bang Theory. It's the one series I still make a point to pick up each season. How much stronger a recommendation do you need?

Heh. Lady and I at least are adamantly anti-BBT. Mom loves it, tried a few times to get me into it (still does, but not near as often); can't stand it, don't find it funny at all.

Likewise. I saw an episode and wasn't all that entertained.

Maybe it was because earlier that day I had discovered Community.

Meanwhile, Kamon and I find BBT entertaining (though there are points that I can't watch).

A huge part of my aversion to the series is that my roomies would play it all the time, and I was deemed the Sheldon of the apartment...by the most Sheldonish person I've ever met. I'm sure it's cute if you haven't seen the entire series looped for three months straight (at which point they moved on to ruin NCIS in the same way, which I actually used to like until it was shoved down my throat).

Got the Sheldon-roomie back, though. Through sheer accident - New Who was on other roomie's Netflix, and I got the entire rest of our little social circle hooked on it. She hated me for it.
