Hope those celebrating it today have a good one, and the same to those who aren't.

I fully plan to spend mine kicking back and reading my shiny new Vorkosigan ebook. What are your plans?

Got a couple of errands to attend to in the morning, then heading over for Thanksgiving lunch after noon.

After that, probably gonna relax and read/write for the evening.

Well, after a thoroughly disappointing Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, I'm spending most of the morning with last minute cleaning.

The afternoon will be spent with family & turkey, as usual.

This evening, we'll likely be going to see a movie. Not sure which one yet.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

A big, long game with my local group. It worked out that everyone had the day off, even though there's nothing special about today. (up here, at least)

Home on leave for the holiday. Just waiting on all the family to show so the big meal can finally begin. Happy Thanksgiving to all.

....darn you Lady, I left all my Vorkosigan books in Germany and now I want to read the next one. :p

Ha, someone else has heard of the series without me making them read it!

If you've an ereader, Baen's got it on the site for $6. It's an Ivan book. So many shenanigans...

In the spirit of thankfulness, I decided to volunteer myself for kitchen cleanup duty. Other than deboning the turkey carcass (which my dad did), I handled the complete cleanup. I'm wiped out!

Bella, you are too kind. That's a lot of work. Bravo.

Lady, I'm still new to the series, courtesy of the combined libraries of US Army Europe. I've read Warrior Apprentice and Cetaganda thus far, with another three omnibus editions awaiting my return. You're welcome to try playing Miles in any game I run... if you think you're up to it? ;p

I mentioned it to Obliv (halfling cavalier), and he made a weird squeak.

I've read those two plus The Vor Game and Ethan of Athos (which while it lacks Miles, it has Ellie) and just started Labyrinth. Please no David Bowie jokes.

I'm on Labyrinth as well, so you're safe from me. Besides, you can't mock David Bowie. He plays telekinetic cow-tipping with Darth Vader. You can't top that short of being Chuck Norris. Wink
