Yep. I find the bulbapedia art boring, so I troll dA for these. Or trawl. Maybe one via the other.

I went the default art for most of'em just for ease of use.

For Gyarados and Nidoking, though, I will always make an exception for.

Man, going default would mean I'd miss out on Umbreon splashing in the water and lazy Luxray in a tree. And r u srs Persian.

I think your Sudowoodo kinda takes the cake, though.

It perfectly encapsulated the derpitude I deem characteristic of rock-type.

I am liking the consistency of Froslass and Vaporeon here.

Vaporeon is, probably, my all-time favorite Pokemon.

I may redo this list once I'm done going through White.
Snivy has definitely replaced Venusaur as my second favourite Grass type.

Aw yeah Snivy. Grass is definitely the way to go in 5th gen.

I usually roll grass (sans Silver. Fuck Meganium), but it was a clear and present superiority as soon as I saw that cocky smile.

I named him after my Anti-Paladin. They share similar expressions.

I miss 2nd gen. It was the last time we had a decent fire starter.

Yup. Fire in the first two Gens (though I really liked all the starters in those three, even Chikorita's line), Grass in III, Water in IV (because penguins are always cool) though Grass comes in second, and Grass in V, though Water comes in second.

Really hoping VI breaks the stupid Fire/Fighting pattern.

As for me... Porygon's my all-time favorite, but the Eeveelutions (all of them, yes even Jolteon), Misdreavus, and most of the later-gen Bug types (Vespiquen, Scolipede, Volcarona, etc., plus of course the ever-popular Heracross, Scyther/Scizor, and Venomoth as the main early-gen shine-outs) are very close after.

The Cyndaquil line is my favorite of the starters, without a doubt. I've never been a fan of the Grass starters, save for Bulbasaur, Torterra, and the Snivy line. I'm also a fan of all the Water starters, with Empoleon being my favorite of them all (sadly I can't say much about the Oshawatt line since I never got a chance to use it as Roomie claimed it before I could).


Also, I messed up on the template. Articuno would be my favorite Flying type.

Though I personally replace 'tweeted' with 'IM or text message'.


Mine is 'Tricky Wetaskiwin', armed with the lethal 'Ankle Blades'.

After having played through White and (most) of Y, I figured this was due for an update.
